Here's what our guests had to say about us.
As a frequent visitor to NYC, I have become increasingly annoyed by the prices of Manhattan hotels. So I took a chance on one up on 168th Street - and it turned out to be a good call! Easy to find, next to Presbyterian Hospital, simple, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Very basic, but everything I want for a 1-2 day visit: comfy Queen bed, large shower with power & truly hot water, good reception on the large screen TV, quiet and calm day & night (on a Saturday!), good elevators... My only qualm was when the A train (Express) was running local - doubled my travel time from Midtown. BUT when the Express train is on schedule, very quick ride up to "the Heights". Staff was minimal (one guy) but he was super nice and helpful! I will definitely return.
10/10Luis, Dominic, everyone at the front desk, and the housekeeping staff couldn't have made me feel more welcome and taken care of while my family member was in the hospital for 22 days and I needed to be right there. Thank heavens this place was here, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed during this difficult time.

Loved this hotel! When booking my stay in NYC, I only cared about cleanliness, budget, and safety. This hotel marked those boxes and so much more! Also has an iron, hair dryer, and Keurig coffee maker, which are all little touches that make a big difference. Only a short subway ride to the main attractions and only one block from the station. There are multiple lines that lead to the station so never had an issue getting back even latter at night. The area felt safe for the week we were there, even at night. There is an amazing deli on the corner that we ate at every day with good quality and prices. The staff here always smile at you and welcome you. And the room was extremely clean, which seems hard to find in NYC at this price point. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in NYC! Thank you for an amazing and comfortable stay!

Dominique, at the front desk check in was very friendly, and very helpful.. a very nice clean small boutique hotel. Definitely recommend for those who need to remain close to NY Presbyterian Hospital.
Jerry FreundVery clean. Very friendly and helpful.
Thomas BeachtI am just so impressed with The Edge Hotel and the way you run your business! We're a small medical device company conducting case studies throughout the U.S., which means we've spent the last year and a half traveling through major cities and staying at countless hotels. Without question, you have been the nicest, most generous company we've worked with during this entire time. What makes it even better is how I found you - I asked ChatGPT for a boutique hotel comparable to another, and it recommended your property. After reading through the incredible tributes from previous guests, I just had to book. Honestly, I had a lump in my throat going through those reviews... and now I understand why. You truly live up to every single one of them, which is AMAZING. Thank you for creating such a welcoming, thoughtful, and standout hospitality experience. We travel constantly, and staying with you has been an absolute highlight. We'll definitely be returning every time our work brings us back to NYC.
A Truly Exceptional Boutique Hotel ExperienceI had a fantastic stay from the moment I checked in. I stayed a week and hosted a meeting at the property. Everyone was polite and helpful. I would like to compliment Jose and Anthony. The rooms are petite but have everything you need. For those of you with a coffee addiction, Starbucks is a quick easy walk.
